Hanie Lynch was born in Texarkana, TX (Hi y’all!). A painfully shy girl and an only child, she spent much of her childhood gluing crayon shavings to large pieces of paper and attempting to sell them on her front lawn. At age 3 she started taking dance classes and decided years later to become a Fly Girl on In Living Color just like Jenny from the block. When she graduated high school she packed her bags and moved to the Big Apple. After majoring in dance at Marymount Manhattan College for 3 1/2 semesters, she dropped out because “getting a dance degree is dumb when all you want to do is hip-hop.” With pressure from her parents to “please, get a degree in SOMETHING,” Hanie finally got her B.F.A. degree in Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Costume Design/Technology from the University of Arizona (summa cum laude, wink). After fulfilling her parents dream she began to think about her own- so began her post-graduate career crisis. During this time Hanie enrolled in a beginning acting class at the Piven Theatre School in Chicago to finally get over her fear of public speaking and needless to say, crisis averted.
Hanie now lives in Los Angeles acting in commercials, short films and web series’, making videos with her ridiculous all-girl sketch group LadyPantz, and engaging in some major arts ‘n’ crafts with the skills she learned in college.
